Meet Kristi Howe

Hello, I am the owner and head trainer at Nexus K9. I started Nexus K9 because I wanted to make a difference in the lives of people and their pets. Working with dogs has been my passion from a very young age. I’ve dedicated much of my life to mastering the diverse aspect of dog training and behavior.

I’ve had several occasions to expand my knowledge base, the most memorable being the Tyler Muto K9 Connection Shadow Program. In addition, I have also had the opportunity to gain advanced knowledge and experience in the fields of professional dog grooming and animal health as a veterinary assistant. Several years ago, I was bitten by the competitive dog sport bug and have since been competing and earning titles in multiple venues with my personal dogs.

Meet Thomas Howe

I have loved working with dogs for many years and have come to love bringing balance to dog owners all around the Coastal Empire. Before owning Nexus K9, I spent a decade working for the Savannah Police Department.

I now co-own Nexus K9 with my beautiful wife Kristi. I work in training, sales and office management. It’s my passion to insure that every client has a world class experience with us. Call today to book your free consultation.

Meet Jessie Ray

I started my career in the pet world by working in boarding kennels, soon followed by attending The Tom Rose School in 2008. After 5 months of intense schooling, graduated as a professional dog trainer.

I went on to do an internship with a trainer in upstate South Carolina before returning home and continuing with local families. While I did go back into the boarding and daycare business for a while, I continued to complete and show my personal dogs with the hopes of one day returning to full-time professional training. I’m thrilled to be a part of the Nexus K9 team and grow from here.
